In memory of Charles - The most caring of fathers
May 29, 1913 -June 2, 2002
As a child I hid your weakness. Forgive me.
Grown, I have uncovered your strength.
To my mother - The most giving of all
Jan 24, 1914 - August 7, 1992
I honour you with this poem. This poem that you sent me as a Christmas letter in 1985 when I was living in California. This poem that you wrote for me.
A Christmas Poem?
i tired, Xmas comimg fast
i going slow
much ice, much cold
snow coming, birds eating
like hogs - dog too if he can find it.
Lights blinking on tree
gifts to wrap, cards to send
Dxxx football game too loud -
too long
car inspected, license to get
taxes to pay. flowers to cemetery
ice must go
Something every nite - no time
to go - Santa getting closer - must hurry
No. tired, go to bed
Not much poem - no F words
or 6 packs or ladies behinds
Old age coming fast - Mama
nice, loves you very much.
Mom
And to You - you who are out there
You are my Dog Star. My Sirius.
You are the lite unto my path.
And I love You
gigi
This is beautiful, gigi. Good night to Ruby.
